ABOUT ARBOROur Primary program serves three to six-year-olds. At the LaVista campus, there is one primary class with traditional hours, which dismisses at 11:30am for three and four-year-olds and at 2:30pm for five-and six-year-olds. There are two classrooms with traditional primary hours at our Emory campus; they dismiss at 12noon for three and four-year olds and 3pm for five and six year olds. We also provide one All Day primary class with extended hours at the LaVista campus for children ages two-and-a-half to six. All Day Parents can drop off as early as 7:30am and pick their children up any time up until 6pm.
Our Elementary program serves the six to twelve-year-old. The program is broken up into two levels: Lower elementary classes, which serve children aged 6-9 and upper elementary classes which serve children aged 9-12. There are three lower elementary and two upper elementary classes at the LaVista campus. There is an extensive outdoor program at the upper elementary level.
Our Middle School program is for children aged 12-14 and is located at the LaVista campus.
Our Spanish program starts at the primary level and continues through middle school.
Our Art and Music programs start at the elementary level and continue through middle school.
Our Enrichment program is available from the end of classes until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Placement must be reserved through either a yearly contract or on a drop-in basis as space allows. Please contact the office for fees and availability.
Additional After School Programs such as foreign languages, creative movement, or chess are offered for an additional fee. These classes vary from year to year and are offered to different age groups and for different levels of expertise.
In addition to after-school care, Arbor offers full-day Holiday Camp during selected school holidays and teacher workdays for children five years of age and older. Please check the school calendar or call the office for specific dates.
Early Morning Care is available before the school day begins. On the Emory Campus, Early Morning Care is from 8am to 8:45am. At the LaVista campus, Early Morning Care is from 7:30am to 8:15am. Space is limited at both campuses and is filled on a lottery basis. Please call the office for fees and avialability for Early Morning Care.
End of Program Pick Up Information
Carpool ends at 3:15, after which late fees apply.
All-Day and Enrichment end at 6pm, after which late fees apply.
Chess and Soccer end at 4:15, after which late fees apply.
Parents must pay a late fee for every 15 minute period if they arrive after the conclusion of the usual dismissal time:
- Up to 15 minutes late
- 15-30 minutes late
- 30-45 minutes late
